Trusted Seller Representation
Having seller representation means you have someone on your side. In most real estate transactions, the real estate attorney represents the buyer. Thus, many Charleston sellers come to us to serve their interests in the sale of their real property.
As the seller, having closing documents prepared is your responsibility. You can have the buyer’s attorney do it, but it’s better to have your own representative. Because the buyer’s attorney is legally bound to represent their client’s interests, they may not be able to answer all of your questions.
We prepare all of the seller documents, including the deed, on your behalf. Perhaps most importantly, we provide you with options. For example, if you don’t want or need the emotional closure of attending the closing, we offer sellers the opportunity to come in and sign your documents ahead of time and at your convenience.
